Austrian Occupation Medal (Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 13 März 1938). The Commemorative Medal of 13 März 1938 was the first of the 'Anschluss' (Annexation), medal series and was instituted on 1 May 1938, for award to civilians and military personnel who participated in the annexation of Austria into Greater Germany. This is a nice example having great detail. The medal is complete with its original confectioned ribbon. Nice example in very good condition.
