Original era manufacture. An excellent quality regulation US Navy Officers sword, Japanese made by MIYAZIMA, 29 inch, triple etched chromed steel blade with etched panels on each side. The blade runs straight and true with no corrosion issues. Miyazima mfg, and retailed by Honcho of Yokosuka JapanGilded finish to the brass guard and pommel, imitation fishskin grip, bound with single strand wire. Period correct original sword knot wrapped around the guard.Black leather covered alloy scabbard with bright finish to the brass fittings.
