Light worn M40 pattern army steel helmet. Single decal example with the eagle rating over 95% still showing nice details. Complete with beautiful liner, draw string and full length maker marked early chin strap by G. Schiele, Loburg, 1937. This chin strap is worth a small fortune on its own today. Split pins remain straight and untouched. Maker marked shell by NS, size 64. Lot number DN50. Dome acceptance stamp remains clearly visible. A beautiful, investment grade helmet!
