WH (Heer) M44 Type Breast Eagle

This is a nice example of a Wehrmacht (Heer) M44 Type Breast Eagle (Hoheitsabzeichen). This is the final pattern machine woven breast eagle and was utilized on a variety of combat clothing including the M44 field blouse and assault gun wrap-around tunics. The eagle is executed in the neat so-called BeVo weave style in grey thread on a field-grey linnen background. The eagle is a bit wrinkled from years of storage. Nice late war breast-eagle in good unissued condition.
