British Victorian Era, Royal Navy Reserves Officer Dress Epaulettes, Cased

Original era manufacture. Nice pair of Victorian Era (circa 1850's) Naval Outfitters cased set of epaulettes. Maker marked on the reverse of each is Matthews & Co. Portsea, Portsmouth. Heavy gold wire construction with blue silk underlay, handsome gold wire emblems sewn to the top of the straps. Toned from age, wear to the silk padding. These reside in their original maroon velvet lined steel storage case. Name on case W. Molley, Royal Naval Reserve, RNR.
