Waffen-SS Sleeve Eagle

Waffen-SS Sleeve Eagle (Ärmeladler). This is a late war pattern, a so-called 'Dachau' type, machine-embroidered sleeve eagle. The eagle is nicely machine-embroidered in silver-grey linnen on a black woolen background. The eagle originates almost certainly from the SS clothing department at the Dachau KZ when liberated in 1945. Nice original example in mint and unissued condition.
