Italian, Royal Army, Cavalry Officers Dress Sword

Original era manufacture. Appears to based on the 1873 pattern sword, with a thin, plated steel blade measuring 31 inches in length. On each side of the blade is an etched design featuring a crowned eagle with a Savoy cross on it's chest. The blade runs fairly straight, with no corrosion or nick issues. Plated finish basket guard with a black painted wooden grip. There is a small chip in the grip just below the pommel. Plated steel scabbard with two carrying rings, most of the original finish remains, no dents.
