British WWI M1907 Bayonet & Scabbard, Chapman Mfg. '17

Original era manufacture. Even steel patina blade finish, with spots of cleaned surface corrosion on the reverse fuller, no nicks or grinding to the edge, the point remains sharp. Numerous markings on the ricasso, with a makers name of CHAPMAN and what appears to be a date of '17.Mix of blue and steel patina finish to the guard and pommel, with the wood grips having a perhaps post production varnish finish.Black leather bodied scabbard, with an olive paint finish to the steel throat and chape. Clean bayonet, displaying normal age and wear.
