Description

Original typical and well known blue striped jacket and trousers for concentration camp inmates. This particular suit came from a French political prisoner, that presumably was in Dachau. The jacket is executed in typical ribbed wool, having German glass buttons, the same that could be found on winter camouflage suits. The trousers are made of summer HBT material, and lining material is similar to what we see in SS uniforms, as those were also made in concentration camps, hence they used similar materials. After some fine research of one of my friends we were able to put a name on this set;Number: 110682Name: Alexander SapinBirth: 2-2-1888Arrivial in Dachau: 21-09-1944Prisoner type: SchutzhΓ€ftlinge FranzoseUpdate– Thanks to another good friend we now found scans of the original paper work of Alexander Sapin in the Dachau archives, we added them in the photo slideshow. We will only sell this set to serious collectors and/or museums. Please send a motivation letter to buy this and/or inquire for price info@bevo-militaria.com
