German WWI Artillery Enlisted Sword, Simson, Suhl Mfg. 1915

Original era manufacture. A very clean example made by Simson in 1915. Bright polished steel blade with an even steel patina finish to the scabbard. Molded composition grip, single branch steel guard. No corrosion issues to the blade, no nicks in the cutting edge, just some scattered staining to the surface. The blade draws easily from the scabbard.
