WW1 French Model 1915 Field Jacket

Original enlisted ranks Model 1915 field jacket as worn by the French army throughout most of the war. The jacket is in its typical Horizon blue wool with a cotton internal lining. Jacket has been stripped of its insignia. All but one button present. Both collar hooks are in place. Stamps inside make us think it was worn by an infantryman, there is also another stamp from a costumer who had possession of the jacket after the war.

Much like all of the enlisted ranks uniforms, very few have survived. This French tunic being no exception, many are in the hands of museums and private collections but rarely do they come up for sale. If you require more photos of this jacket, please email us.
