WW2 Japanese Army NCO's Visor Cap

Imperial Japanese army NCO's peaked visor cap. Original star insignia in place. Some minor cracks in the leather of the peak. Cap shows signs of extremely heavy wear so this appears it was more likely worn daily for combat rather than parade dress. Chinstrap has been purposely removed. Inside the sweatband is in place alongside a name in Japanese stitched into the crown of the cap. A very small size, yet a wonderful display piece.
