Canadian Leather Combat Jerkin. The leather 'Jerkin' was originally introduced in the British army during the first winter of World War 1 and immediately became popular with the troops, its usage continued through-out World War 2. This is a multi-panel construction Canadian made example. The jerkin is complete with manufacturers label which is faintly dated 1943. One button has been replaced. Nice original example in good used condition.
