US Indian Wars M1881 Cavalry Prairie Belt

Original era manufacture. Canvas and leather construction with loops for 45 rounds of 45-70 ammunition. The belt is sound, the leather pliable and the tongue is full length, never shortened. The sabre suspension hook was removed, perhaps for dismounted service. Overall, a very sound example for its age.
