German Post WWII, Letter & Envelope, General der Panzertruppe, Baron Hasso von Monteuffel Autograph

Original period autograph. Hand typed letter on his letterhead, with signature at bottom, with mailing envelope, from General der Panzertruppe, Hasso von Manteuffel to an American collector in 1969. In the letter the General speaks of the awards that he wore during a visit to Hitler at Berchtesgaden in  May 1944. He also writes of the recent passing of General Eisenhower. Light age and wear.
