US WWII Combat Medic Badge, Pinback

Original period manufacture. Regulation size insignia, of a badge instituted in January 1945. Silvered alloy with a base metal which may be brass or copper. Pinback reverse with a complete catch but sticks a bit when you try to open it. Old patina finish.
