Japanese WWII Winter Gaiters for Officer

Japanese WWII Winter Gaiters for Officer-This pair of thick wool, fur lined gaiters measure 16 ½ inches (41.91cm) tall, and would be worn by an officer, not an EM.  They are made of very high-quality light tan wool. Both do show some moth tracking. The four brown leather side straps with buckles are in very good condition. The brown finish remains intact on the buckles. The leather straps are clean and damage free. There is a leather strap that would go under the shoe, holding these in place. This lower strap is also in very good shape. The trim inside is lined with fur. Other than the moth tracking, these are free from discoloration.  A scarce find.
