Japanese WWII Hobnail Combat Field Boots

Japanese WWII Hobnail Combat Field Boots-These are made of a sturdy brown leather in the short style. They lace up the front. These feature stitched leather construction, with sewn on leather soles. These boots have both hobnails added for traction, and steel reinforced heels. The hobnails are quite different than the German style, and each appear to be marked. The soles of both boots are very well worn, so any maker mark is long gone. However, we can see that the wear on both boots do match. Each boot is fitted with five pairs of steel lace eyelets, and the number 100 has been punched into the inner, upper sides of both boots, making this a nice matched pair. We believe these to be a size 8.  In very good condition. This is a scarce find!
