US Indian Wars M1874, Army Issue Cup or Dipper

Original era manufacture. Classic issue cup of the Indian and Spanish American Wars. Tinned steel with a US embossed into the top of the handle. Even, dark steel patina finish overall, no corrosion issues.At one time Bannerman & Company had 4,000 of these in stock and advertised them as being good for painters to use as paint cans. Price in 1950....around 50 cents. One of my all-time favorite military relics. 'Oh the drums they roll upon my soul and this is the style we go, forty miles a day on beans and hay in the Regular Army-O'.
