Rare second pattern brown butterdish

Textbook second pattern butterdish with a nice deep brown accentuated tone set. Textbook second pattern with fine thread and a gripped bottom. Sadly the lid has a small damage to it but it can still be opened and closed. Uncommon brown coloured variant with large flakes of filler material which clearly shows on the outside. Note that this is not a brown 1944 dated example form the hoard find but a rare brown variation.
