Description
Hard to find Luftwaffe officer visor cap for summer use. Complete with its rare bullion insignia. The eagle is a textbook summer example mounted on a brass plate so it could be removed when the white top needed to be washed. It has a great look and saddle shape and would be a nice cap for display on a combat pilot or paratrooper. Inside remains complete and shows normal wear. The sweat diamond remains present and shows the Clemens Wagner maker mark, and above the text; 'Extraklassig' meaning this cap was made out of the best quality available for officers. Size +-56 . Seldom seen a white topped visor in this 'untouched' condition.
