British Pre WWI (1912) Royal Scots Fusiliers VB Issue Bearskin Busby

Original era manufacture. Solid black bearskin hat with a Broad Arrow proof and 1912 date stamped into the white canvas lining. Wide brown leather sweatband with a cloth adjusting string.The fur is in excellent condition, and on the right side is a blue-white hackle of horsehair. A blackened brass linked chinstrap is intact, although once backed with  maroon leather, that material is in poor condition. The silvered brass bursting bomb emblem on the front is rather loosely attached, really just pinned in place. We have included a brass emblem as well. Overall the busy is very sound for its age.
