US Vietnam War Era, GI Steel Helmet & Mitchell Pattern Camouflage Cover

Original period manufacture. Rear seam, non reflective edge steel helmet shell in original finish, with original sewn dark OD chin straps, missing the blackened steel fitting on the short side. Original Mitchell pattern camouflage cover, contract number DSA100-74-F-U-919. The name MILIS appears on the front of the helmet liner, and on the reverse, M-5577.
