US Korean War Era, M1852 US Navy Officers Sword, USA MADE, Identified

Original era manufacture. Clean 28 inch chromed steel blade with etched panels on each side. The blade runs straight and true, with no corrosion issues.Gilded finish to the brass guard and pommel, imitation fishskin grip, with a single strand of wide decorative wire. The pommel eagle looks to it's left, indicating the pre-1941 regulation. Black leather covered alloy scabbard with bright finish to the brass fittings. Wear to the surface stitching below the lower scabbard fitting. Clean sword otherwise.
