Wehrmacht Felt Sentry Winter Boots

German Felt & Leather Sentry Winter Boots (Winterstiefel). The felt and leather boots were originally introduced after the first devastating winter in Russian as the standard leather marching boots didn't provide the warmth required in the extreme cold. The boots are in overall good used condition with light age and usage toning and some small moth damages, the boots are having wooden soles. The boots are nicely maker marked and size '28' marked. Nice original pair in good condition.
These shoes originate from the collection of the recently closed Eyewitness Museum and were in display in the diorama in the last picture.
