US WWII USMC Bolo Knife Chatillon Mfg, Boyt 43 Leather Scabbard

Original era manufacture. Originally a bright finished blade, now displaying considerable age staining from age and use with evidence, and cleaned corrosion on one side. Deeply stamped U.S.M.C., CHATILLON N.Y. on the surface.  Well worn wood grips secured with three brass rivets. Standard, heavy-duty brown leather scabbard in nice condition, which is maker marked and dated, BOYT 43.
