German WWI S9805 Bayonet, Mauser Mfg 1917, Turkish Re-Work

Original era manufacture. Standard S98/05 butcher blade bayonet made by Waffenfabrik Mauser, and so marked on the blade ricasso. Re-worked by Turkey after WWI. The blade and scabbard were shortened, yet the original markings and Crown W 17 proof remain on the blade. Normal age and wear.
