Dutch Backpack - 'Ransel Model 1915'

Dutch Enlisted Men's type Backpack M15 (Ransel Model 1915). Made of thick heavy duty tan/fieldgrey coloured canvas. The backpack is nicely marked with 'C.M.' (Centraal Magazijn) en dated 1916, the rucksack is showing various unit markings as well. The backpack is nicely maker marked by the company 'Van der Horst & de Heus'. The two leater straps at the bottom of the backpak (to attach the mess kit pouch) are present. The backpack is complete with leather carrying straps, these were worn attached to the ammunition pouches or belt-loops. Nice original Dutch backpack in good used condition!
