US Vietnam War Era, Airborne Helmet & Mitchell Pattern Camouflage Cover

Original period manufacture. Rear seam, non reflective edge steel helmet shell in original finish, with original dark OD canvas chin straps, with blackened steel loop attachments and clasps, and airborne strap/snap extensions. Original Mitchell pattern camouflage cover, green to brown, contract number DSA 100-75-F-V289 (1975). Dark OD composition liner, with complete suspension, fitted with female snap openings and A-pattern chin cup straps. Overall honest age and wear, the top seam on the helmet cover has opened up.
