Description
A pair of large sized extremely rare Canadian ankle boots as worn by Canadian infantry troops in NW Europe 1944/45. These boots closely resembled the British version however were toecapless & of a slightly different construction. They had seven pairs of eyelets with a short tongue this pair having rounded metal toe cleat held on by five screws. Marked to outside sole , inner step inner cuff the Canadian broad arrow within C can just about be seen to bottom. ( Circled in red ). Unissued condition & a very large size these are practically impossible to obtain today.
