WW2 British Senior Rank ( Company Officer ) NFS Helmet Area 39 - Swindon

Scarce NFS helmet from Area 39 ( Swindon) with wide red band for rank of Company Officer . Another interesting helmet typical of Home Front helmets of the period where previous markings can be seen underneath the current paint in this case the word 'FIRE' & ghost outlines of previous rank markings which existed as he rose through the ranks. Faint marking to underside of rim 'HBH' for Harrison Brothers .
