WW1 German Officers Pickelhaube Cover With Red Training Band To Reverse

A very good example of the German officers pickelhaube cover with red training band to reverse side . Unlike the regular enlisted man's cover with hooks, these have card inserts which slipped over the front and rear peaks of the Pickelhaube for a firm fit. There are two DRP marks (Deutsches Reichs Patent) stamped in black ink which is typical for these officer versions. Red banded to reverse side for ease of use when on manouvres. Overall very good condition.
