WW1 German M16 Camouflage Helmet

Interesting WW1 German M16 camouflage helmet which displays a handpainted scheme of five colours painted in ad hoc sections with black dividing lines still visible in places. A fresh out of Europe helmet which has been subject to certain artistic talent by the soldier with all the classic colours of dark brown , reddish brown , light green , light brown , tan ochre & dark green creating a very effective camouflage pattern. Underside of rim is marked with a size '64' & the faint 'Bell L' logo. All three pins are original to the helmet with interior liner having been treated a very long time ago. This has now darkened with age. A striking helmet which would fit well into any camouflage helmet collection.
