Description
A WW1 German camouflage helmet in a two colour scheme with thick black dividing lines as per the Ludendorff order of 1918. Painted in large segments the forest green has been applied in conjunction with its natural factory finish & the dividing lines have been formed into a circle at the top of the helmet. Underside of helmet rim shows maker & size mark ' ET64' with metal liner band of the M17 system. Three leather cushion holders are still present with tightening string intact.
