WW1 British 4.5 Howitzer Shellcase Trenchart Cap 1916

A very nice Trenchart cap made form the shellcase of a 4.5 In Howitzer. A French button with the number '4' has been mounted to front with 'Souvenir Ypres 1914-1916' inscribed either side. Chinstrap is moveable on two British GS buttons either side. Markings on base of shellcase give date of 1916 .
