WW2 Private Purchase RAF Officers Webbing Belt 1940

An early war private purchase RAF three sectioned officers waistbelt with sword hook. These were only ever designed to carry sidearms although curiously had the provision for carriage of a sword with sword hook mounted into the webbing. This example is 'MECO' marked ( Mills Equipment Co ) & dated 1940.
