French M1874 Gras Bayonet, St Etienne 1876

Original era manufacture. A model 1874 French Gras rifle bayonet, marked on the spine, St.Etienne 1876. Non-matching numbers guard to scabbard throat. Clean blade with some light corrosion staining at the point and ricasso. Dark steel patina finish to the guard, original finish wood grips showing wear and staining, brass pommel. Clean blue steel finished scabbard with some very minor denting to the surface.
