WW1 French Private Purchase Pistol Holster

An early private purchase French pistol holster for the Officers Sam Brown belt equipment set . Most likely to be for a revolver such as the French Model 1873/74 . The thick ridging to the mouth of the holster is very typical of French holsters of the period.
