WW2 British MkII Steel Helmet 1943

A midwar British army MkII steel combat helmet in its original green factory paint with 1943 date to liner. These helmets were on issue just before the new MkIII 'Turtle' helmets were introduced & are still seen very much in use during the fighting in N.W Europe . With overall service wear there is a stack mark to top crown which I have made no attempt to remove. Correct MkIII Webbing chinstrap intact.
