WW1 French Battle Damaged M15 Infantry Adrian Helmet

A rare WW1 French M15 Adrian infantry helmet with bullet entry & exit holes to front & side. This Infantry helmet has an entry hole through its flaming grenade badge to front with an exit hole to right side. Having received two coats of blue paint in its lifetime the earlier finish has been overpainted in a darker coat by hand . Chinstrap intact. Interior has multi construction liner with bullet damage & some dark staining in the area of the damage. Coming from the Marne area of France & no doubt testament to the heavy fighting that took place there.
