WW2 British 53rd Welsh Division Royal Artillery S/Sgt Battledress 1943- Normandy Unit

Rare originally badged '40 pattern battledress blouse to a Royal Artillery Staff Sergeant in the 53rd Welsh Division . A '40 pattern battledress with printed titles & Div patches the worsted artillery rank insignia is neatly handstitched & nicely seated into the cloth of the battledress. Interior clothing label gives date of 1943 with WD inspectors 'N' code for the year 1943. Overall in very good condition with only light wear. As is well known the Welsh Division saw much action in North West Europe during the Normandy fighting ( Falaise notably ) as well as Battle of the Bulge , Reichswald & Crossing of the Rhine .
