WW1 German M17 Camouflage Helmet

Interesting German helmet in an ad hoc brush stroked camouflage scheme utilising the classic tan ochre applied as a base with forest green blotches & thin black brush strokes applied over all to break up the pattern. Totally uncleaned & coming as it was found there is heavy wear to the inside & out with chromed leather cushion pads all retaining cushions but with two of the pads showing tongues mostly minus. The M17 liner band is undisturbed as can be quickly ascertained from inspection & all pins original with matching camouflage paint fro, its original application. An 'ET' made helmet ( Eisenhutte , Thale ) it is a size 64 also with the depot ink stamp '64' denoting same. Complete with chinstrap.
