Description

Original era manufacture. A great looking transitional model dagger displaying the  Anton Wingen Jr. trademark on its ricasso, and also the RZM code of M7/51, with a date of 1939. The blade is very bright showing some touches of minor runner wear, with plenty of original cross grain polish visible, no corrosion issues.Plated metal fittings throughout, with a nickel grip eagle and enameled SA emblem. The wooden grip is quite sound, with no cracks or chips visible, small spot of discoloroation on each side of the grip below the pommel.Brown painted scabbard which retains nearly 100% of its original finish, with only a few small scratches in the paint finish, no denting to the body. Again, plated scabbard fittings with all screws present, and no  denting to the ball tip.Clear RZM markings to the brown leather hanger. An honest, unfussed-with WWII SA dagger.
