Austrian WWI Enlisted Buckle & Keeper, Field Recovered

Original era manufacture. All brass construction, complete with it's original keeper. The steel rod holding the adjusting prongs disintegrated long ago. During WWI Austro-Hangarian divisions also served on the Western Front and engaged American troops during the St.Mihiel and Meuse-Argonne offensives in 1918.
