Japanese WWII, Order of the Golden Kite 7th Class, Cased

Original era manufacture. A nice example of this silver medal with a gilded falcon. Complete with its issue case, with domed lid and original ribbon. Pleasing patina finish to the metal, light staining and fading to the silk ribbon, no tears or fraying, with a lapel badge. The Order of the Golden Kite was a purely military decoration awarded for bravery and the only Japanese order outlawed by the Allies at the end of WWII.
