Description

Very nice and well preserved white piped enlisted infantry visor cap 'Schirmmütze'. Complete with its original insignia pierced through the front of the cap. The visor is maker marked by Deutsche Wertarbeit inside. The liner looks good and shows light wear. The celluloid diamond is gone but the maker mark remains present. The reverse of the sweatband has a unit mark fromInfanterie-Regiment 73. The visor bill itself has a small repair on the left side, and so does the chin strap. Otherwise the cap remains undamaged and also has no moth holes! It is a large size 60 hat, that is quite difficult to find these days!
