US Pre Civil War Socket Bayonet, Possible 1816 Pattern

Original era manufacture. A very clean, bright finished bayonet with a clear US proof on the base of the blade. The overall length is 21 inches, with a three inch shank. The bore opening measures 20mm and at the muzzle 20 mm.
