US WWII Army Jungle Machete, True Temper 1945

Original era manufacture. Rough finished 18 inch blade with a factory applied edge, with clear markings and 1945 date. The factory cutting edge is sharp, with no extra curricular sharpening.  Olive plastic grip which is secured with three flushground brass rivets.Dark OD canvas scabbard body with light OD trim, clean, with a metal reinforced throat. The scabbard is sound, normal age and wear.The maker mark and dates are readable, but faint.
