Belgian M1868 Pioneer Bayonet, Sawback

Original era manufacture. Massive sawback pioneer bayonet with a brass grip. Measures 24 inches in length. The blade is clean, with an 1885 date on the ricasso. Looks like it has a post production thin plating to the surface which is showing wear and thinning. No scabbard.
