Chinese WWII Nationalist Army Officers Sword

Original era manufacture. Similar in design to the Japanese Army Officer dress sword, and of lightweight construction. The polished steel blade measures 28 inches in length, displaying minor staining along it's length but no corrosion issues. Ornate brass guard, backstrap and pommel, with a faux tortise shell wrapped grip bound with single strand wire. Black painted steel scabbard with a single carrying ring, creased towards the tip, which does not hinder the movement of the blade.
